JULY 22, 2017

It all kicks off at 2:00 with the Bay City Brass Band setting the tone and 17 beers on tap including our famous Bubba Likes Moonpie Stout and a Hurricane version of S’Wheat Home.

Your $5 entry fee includes a commemorative glass (pictured below), and our first 75 customers will also get a koozie that fits the glass perfectly. All beers will be $5, though pour sizes will vary based on the alcohol content of any individual beer.

We will have a tent set up outside where all of our specialty Mardi Gras beers will be poured on the following schedule:

  • 2:00 – King Cake Stout and Hurricane S’Wheat Home
  • 3:00 – Bubba Likes Moon Pie Stout
  • 4:00 – Mardi Gras Triple IPA
  • 5:00 – King Cake Stout
  • 6:00 – Bubba Likes Moon Pie Stout

Behind the bar in the taproom we will have fifteen additional offerings on tap. Some of those beers will remain on tap all day:

  • Lil Poison Brown Ale
  • Fairhope 51
  • Take the Causeway IPA
  • Cheap Sunglasses Gold Ale
  • I Drink Therefore I Amber
  • Everyday Ale
  • Judge Roy Bean Coffee Stout
  • Cinco Uno Jalapeno Pale Ale
  • S’Wheat Home Fruit Wheat
  • Hop Hogan Douple IPA
  • Along Came a Cider
  • Hefeweight Champ German Wheat

Others will rotate:

  • Coffee Kingslayer will be replaced by Back in Blackberry
  • Merlin (a sour ale with cranberry & nutmeg) will be replaced by Charlie (sour ale with passionfruit & hibiscus)
  • Tarts & Crafts (tart cherry sour) will be replaced by Maverick (golden sour with peaches & apricots)

When we’ve poured through everything else, we’ll move on to whatever else we can find in our cooler.  Overall we’ve got more than 25 beers ready to make an appearance over the course of the day.

  • Bay City Brass Band 2:00 – 4:00
  • Fat Man Squeeze starting at 4:30
  • Lauren Murphy and the Psychedelics at 7:00

We’ve got two options for food for purchase:

  • The Bean & Bistro will be providing Cajun fare like jambalaya, red beans & rice, and muffulettas
  • Puglies Taco Truck will be providing all sorts of Mexican delicacies

The parking in front of our taproom will be limited, but there is plenty of parking in our neighborhood.  The gravel lot to the east of our brewery is available, as is the lot for the Deli Depot gas station on the corner of Nichols and 98.  We do ask, though, that our patrons avoid parking in the Little Nichols Market across the street from us or in the parking area for Market by the Bay. (See map below)

As of Friday afternoon, the weather is looking good for Saturday with temperature sticking in the 80s with showers in the morning but cleared up by the afternoon.
